    LOUISVILLE, KY (June 30, 2005) — The Kentucky State Fair returns to Louisville August 18 - 28, 2005 for its two-week run at the Kentucky Exposition Center. For the third year, the Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau is offering several packages that make coming to the Fair affordable and easy, including:


  • Overnight accomodations and tickets to the Thursday, August 18 Gretchen Wilson/Big & Rich concert;
  • Overnight accomodations and tickets to the Friday, August 19 Hillary Duff concert;
  • Overnight accomodations and tickets to the Saturday, August 20 Alan Jackson concert; or
  • Overnight accomodations and tickets to the World's Championship Horse Show August 21 - 27. This prestigious event attracts over 2,000 horses from all over the world, awarding more than $1 million in prizes.

    Parking and fair admission are not included.

    This annual event defines Kentucky like no other, with a massive collection of entertainment, exhibits, contests, concerts, games, food, rides and animals. It provides an opportunity for people from all over the state to come together, have fun and experience what the Bluegrass has to offer. Over 630,000 people are expected to this year's Fair.
