LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 1, 2005) – The Louisville Forum, the city’s pre-eminent nonpartisan public issues group, will host its March lunch meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Governor Ernie Fletcher will be the program’s featured guest.
"We are excited to have Governor Fletcher as our speaker at the March meeting,” said Louisville Forum President Ed Henson. “It should be interesting to hear the Governor's perspective regarding the legislative session and regarding key budget issues, such as proposed tax changes and funding for education. His appearance is very timely."
At the conclusion of the Governor’s speech, audience members will have the opportunity to submit written questions for the Governor that are asked by Louisville Forum Board Members. The program will be held at Vincenzo’s, 150 Fifth Street. Registration opens at 11:45 and lunch begins at noon.
