Louisville, KY - Preparations for a Thanksgiving celebration are underway at Fourth Street Live!. Come be a part of a new holiday tradition, Gobble Trot, and help raise money for the Todd Kelly ALS Foundation at the same time.
The event takes place Wed. November 24, with registration starting at 5 p.m. at Sully's Restauarant Saloon. Participants will be invited to gobble up Wild Turkey Appetizers and drink specials at participating restaurants and clubs. They include: Howl at the Moon, Hard Rock Cafe, FELT, Lucky Strike, Red Star Tavern, Red Cheetah, Sully's, Maker's Mark Bourbon House & Lounge, Saddle Ridge, Parrot Beach, Rascals Comedy Club and TGI Fridays.
Registration for Gobble Trot is only $5. All proceeds benefit the TOdd Kelly ALS Foundation, a foundation set up by Promotions Directors and Week/files/storyimages/DJ for WDJX Todd Kelly. Kelly has been fighting the devastating disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or Lou Gehrig's Disease, for three years. He is also battling bone cancer. "Gobble Trotters" will receive free admission into participating restaurants and clubs until 9 p.m. as well as a free t-shirt while supplies last. There will also be a $500 cash prize given away to one lucky person with a completed Gobble Trot Holiday Pass.
