The new Westport Village shopping center on Herr Lane at Westport Road announces the opening of MACCA’S Florida Seafood Grill & Bar. The “We’re excited about this fun, new restaurant concept now open in the Village”, said MACCA’S Florida Seafood Grill & Bar is a new restaurant concept developed by Todd Darland, Marc King, Chris Wolfe and Ed Lacefield. Named after Todd and Tara Darland’s infant son, MACCA’s has given birth to a fresh twist on casual dining. The partners plan for the Managing partner, Ed Lacefield comes from an extensive restaurant background. He worked for Friday’s for 22 years, and Steak and Ale for 6 years prior to Friday’s. Weekly seafood specials are the creation of Chef Jason Webster, who previously worked for Ed at Friday’s prior to opening the Hardrock Cafe at Fourth Street Live.
restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner, Monday-Saturday, 11am-12 midnight, and Sunday, 11am-11pm. Call-ahead seating and curbside delivery is available by calling (502) 618-2770. Outdoor seating is planned for warmer weather this spring and summer.
