Come and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Glass Artist Society conference where Glassworks will be turning the lights out and letting the libations flow heavily thru this multilevel Black Out Bash. This event will feature live jazz music in the basement nightclub, Jazzy Blu; deejays, discoballs, and hot glass performances in the Hyland Glass/Glassworks Hot Shop; Kentucky Beer and Bourbon tastings with live bluegrass music on the first floor; the premier screening of the “Glass Performance Film Festival” (curated by Rik Allen, Kim Harty, & Andrew Page) on the second floor; and live music rockin’ on the rooftop of Glassworks. This event costs $10 at the door and includes free bourbon and beer tastings as well as access to all levels of entertainment. Wear all black attire for a discounted entry of $7.
