A movement to reconnect children with nature is growing among educators and parents as an increasing body of study, including Richard Louv's "Last Child in the Woods," makes the case for learning in and about the outdoors. This program is designed to make children comfortable in the natural world and become engaged by the nature around them. Participants will watch birds, small mammals, and bees in the Education Center Wildlife Viewing Room, visit live deer and snakes in enclosures and take a short, fun walk on the woodland I Spy Trail.
