If you're looking for Game (as in, a restaurant in Louisville, at 2295 Lexington Road, to be exact) on the internet, it might take you a few minutes. I've been googling furiously for a good while and can only come up with a few scant slivers of information, which I will share now. Game is a restaurant that opened February 12, 2013. It is the brainchild of Hammerhead's co-owners Adam Burress and Chase Mucerino, and if you've ever been to Hammerhead's you know these guys do AMAZING food.
So the internet found a menu (though I am sure tweaks will be made!) and it appears Game is a build your own burger joint, with meat options like elk, ostrich, wild boar and salmon, cheese options including herbed goat, brie and gorgonzola, focaccia , pretzel and pumpernickel bread, among others. Their “extras” list is varied from foie gras to pork belly to grilled fennel. The menu is posted to Game's facebook page here.
Game's hours are Monday through Saturday, five to ten p.m. I plan on visiting next week. Most of the information on the internet for now is a combination of scuttlebutt and news releases regarding the restaurant name (it was going to be Grind House, but we all know that Louisville Grind is an unaffiliated food truck, so the name was changed to Game, read more here.) or the opening of the restaurant. I can't wait to visit—they should start putting together an ostrich burger for me right now!
