    Geocache for Santa’s missing gifts
    Print this page

This Saturday, December 15, E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park will host their last geocaching event of the year. It is scheduled for 10am-3pm. Participants will receive instructions from Santa Claus himself to help him find the gifts that fell off of his sleigh. Santa was trying to avoid the traffic when he was landing and several of his gifts landed throughout the park! Come out and see how many you can find.

This event sounds like a very fun, holiday event outdoors for the entire family. Make it a new tradition for your family this holiday season. Geocaching is a very interactive and interesting family activity that all members of your family will enjoy. It is really catching on these days and you can check out this site for many parks and other locations around Louisville where you and your family can geocache together.

Following the geocache, you and your family can return to the activities building for a gift drawing and enjoy some $.50 cups of hot chocolate. The cost for this event is $5 per person; children under 5 are free. For more information, call 502-429-3280. The park is located at 3000 Freys Hill Road.
