In its 39th year, the Gaslight Festival is the fifth largest festival in the region. Each year, over 200,000 visitors from all over Louisville flock to Jeffersontown for this popular community event. As an Affiliated Event of The Cup Experience, a record number of Gaslight attendees is expected this year. The Chamber Jeffersontown, who puts on the Gaslight Festival, has partnered with The Cup Experience, the Mayor's Task Force, and the Convention and Visitors Bureau to prepare to welcome this influx of visitors during Ryder Cup week.

Gaslight Festival will stretch over 8 days, beginning September 14, with a Corporate Bowling Tournament and Motorcycle Rally. Ryder Cup fans will enjoy the Gaslight Parade with Grand Marshal, Louisville native and worldwide inspiration, golfer Don Fightmaster. The week’s events culminate with an arts and crafts extravaganza and live entertainment garden. “With Ryder Cup happening just 10 miles away, a guest’s trip is not complete until they visit the Gaslight Festival. European visitors can experience a true American tradition while team U.S.A. fans will enjoy the hometown feel,” explains Beth Cassity, President of The Chamber Jeffersontown.
