Galt House Hotel, located in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, is pleased to announce its Coppola Wine Dinner, hosted by RIVUE Restaurant & Lounge. This unique wine dinner to be served on Wednesday, Sept. 8 features five courses, each paired with a Coppola wine.
The meal will begin with smoked scallop crostini with micro greens and bacon dust, paired with Sofia Riesling. The salad will feature a baby Bibb lettuce with pear, gorgonzola and black walnut finished with Chardonnay Vinaigrette and paired with Director’s Cut Chardonnay.
The entrée choices will be five spice tandoori-seared duck breasts, draped with caramelized orange zest and grand gala liqueur, paired with Diamond Alicante Bouschet; and seared medallion of beef with Boursin gratine’e, Peruvian potato, shattered field onions and garlic puree, paired with Rubicon Estate Cask Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dessert will be mango mousse with lady fingers and grilled pineapple salsa, paired with Sofia Blanc de Blanc.
