A professional photographer for 25 years, Chris Korrow has photographed everything from underwater wildlife to hotel lobbies. He continually receives emails asking for photographic advice. During this workshop, Chris will show his latest video, Frost Flowers, which has aired nationally on PBS, and share tips to help attendees improve their nature photography and videography skills. Besides discussing specific techniques, Chris will demonstrate how Photoshop software can be used to get the most out of a shot once it's been taken. workshop attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras and laptops (if available).
Bio
Chris Korrow is a naturalist, farmer, filmmaker, photographer and author. Korrow's articles on sustainable living have appeared in many magazines and newspapers and he has produced several educational short films. Two of his films have appeared on PBS (KET). Along with his author/editor wife, Christy Korrow, Chris has launched Breathe Deep Productions, a media company focusing on projects that explore the intersections between nature, agriculture and sustainability. Korrow conducts environmental-based professional development for teachers and frequently lectures on environmental and sustainability issues.
