Fridays in October are funny at Actors Theatre of Louisville. On the Mainstage is Steve Martin's comic adaptation of Carl Sternheim's The Underpants (October 2-28) upstairs in the Pamela Brown Auditorium and downstairs in Intermezzo Cafe the laughs continue with stand-up comedy. Intermezzo's "Funny Fridays" are October 5, 12, 19 and 26 at 10:30 pm following the 8 pm performance of The Underpants.

Two regional comedians will take the mic downstairs in the 100-seat cafe and bar. Cleveland is from Ohio. He has opened for comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Tommy Chong and Eddie Griffin and is the host and founder of "Rock Star on a Budget Show," a monthly gathering of comics and musicians. He will take the mic October 5 and 12. Keith McGill has performed at countless nightclubs, theatres and universities across the midwest and southeast United States and will take our mic October 19 and 26. Emceeing all four evenings is local comedian Donna Watts who, in addition to playing to colleges, corporate gatherings and special events, produces and appears in a live monthly talk show called "The Donna Watts Comedy Variety Show."

"Funny Fridays" are free and non-ticketed.
