The Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA) will host the 18th Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade on Saturday, April 3, 2010. The parade will begin at 11:30am in front of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 2822 Frankfort Avenue, and will travel from Stilz to Haldeman Avenue. Participants include the Shriner’s, Hwang’s Martial Arts, the Black Cat Jazz Band, the Talking Police Car, the Bubble Truck, and local dance teams. This year’s Grand Marshal, 9th District Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh, will be escorted through the parade by the Easter Bunny. Everyone is welcome to participate, including families, children and pets, and they are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their Easter baskets to be filled with free candy.
