Since Nord’s is home to the #instafamous maple bacon donut, their other donuts don’t get enough love. But these sugar cinnamon twists are everything you could want in a morning treat: light, soft and not overwhelmingly sweet. Get there early, they sell out fast on the weekends!
3. Vanilla iced with sprinkles

Somehow, Clifton Donut Shop isn’t widely known and flooded with business every single day...yet. Better get in there before the brunching masses find this hidden gem. You can pretty much judge a bakery by the simplest thing on their menu, and both the plain glazed and the vanilla iced donuts speak well of Clifton Donut Shop.
4. Rosemary olive oil donut made with local Oliva Bella oil
It’s almost unfair to include this confection on this list because there’s no guarantee it will be at La Peche today. Lilly Cary slings gourmet donuts for La Peche on the weekly.
