Not many familiar foes from the Kentucky Derby are lining up to face winner California Chrome in the Preakness on May 17.

A filly who competed in the Kentucky Oaks, however, might join the cast of challengers in Baltimore.

Ria Antonia, sixth in the Oaks, is listed as possible for the race. The daughter of Rockport Harbor, owned by Loooch Racing and Christopher Dunn, was moved from the barn of Bob Baffert after the race and is now with trainer Tom Amoss.

Amoss said the filly, who remains at Churchill Downs, will have a light breeze either Monday or Tuesday and a decision on her Preakness status will be made after that.

Ria Antonia, with jockey Mike Smith aboard, moved into fourth as the Oaks field moved into the stretch. She couldn’t muster a rally and faded to sixth as Untapable drew off to victory.

Ria Antonia was placed first in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies at 32-1 when She’s a Tiger was disqualified for interference.

She began her 3-year-old campaign with a fourth-place finish in the Rachel Alexandra Stakes. She was moved from the barn of Jeremiah Englehart to Baffert and was second in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks in April.

If entered, Ria Antonia would try to become the sixth filly to win the Preakness.

So far, the only Derby foe confirmed to face California Chrome again is Ride On Curlin, who was seventh in the Run for the Roses. Jockey Joel Rosario will replace Calvin Borel on the son of Curlin.
