This Saturday, July 26th, from 11am- 4pm, the Upper Highlands Neighborhood is sponsoring their annual festival at Atherton High School. It’s a chance for residents to come out and visit vendors, mingle with civic organizations and celebrate during this family-friendly event.
While adults will have the chance to register to vote and give blood, there are plenty of activities for the children as well. The festival will have clowns, free face painting, a chance to see Louisville Meta Zoo and their animals, bouncies and much more. Parents will also have an opportunity to get their children fingerprinted and ID’ed.
Louisville Police (and their horse patrol) and the Louisville Fire Department will each have representatives on hand to discuss safety issues. Residents will have a chance to become up close and personal with thee civic institutions, as well as city and court-appointed representatives as well.
Entertainment for the festival will be live music by the Muddy Loafers (60’s, 70’s and Bluegrass). There will also be free cookies from Sullivan Bakery and hourly door prizes for all of those in attendance. Papa John’s will provide food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
