The Frankfort Avenue FAT Friday Trolley Hop will be running all day on Black Friday, November 28th, in keeping with the day after Thanksgiving shopping tradition. Trolleys will run from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Most stores will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

While other shoppers flock to the mall and battle crowded parking lots and long check-out lines, you can enjoy a leisurely day of strolling on Frankfort Avenue, shopping at the Butchertown Market and exploring the nooks and crannies of the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center. Combine shopping on historic Frankfort Avenue with visits to the galleries, antique stores and coffee shops. Most stores and galleries will have special sales and free demonstrations. It’s a lively event for the entire family – and a unique way to showcase Louisville to out-of-town guests.
