Free family art workshop held the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10 am-12 pm. For African American History Month, at our February 12 workshop we will be making Story Quilts, using felt, fabric scraps, buttons and other assorted fabric decorations. Several children’s books by Faith Ringgold, an artist known for her painted story quilts about African American history, will be available to inspire participants. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Suggested ages 2-12. Pre-registration is required and on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive no later than 11:30; call 812-944-7336 to register.
