Exploring the Labyrinth: Reflections on Coming of Age
13th Annual Festival of Faiths
The Home of the Innocents
1100 East Market Street
Free and open to the public.
Etched into the floor of the old stockyards hay barn on Home of the Innocents’ main campus, this wheelchair playful labyrinth has been an annual interfaith event for the last four years. Home of the Innocents serves as the “community’s open arms to kids in crisis.” This meditative walking/wheelchair experience offers residents, families and staff from each area of H.O.T.I.’s programs an opportunity to connect with their own sense of Divine presence and movement through this ancient symbol of healing and wholeness. The labyrinth will be open to the public from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.
This event is part of the 13th Annual Festival of Faiths. For more information about the entire Festival of Faiths line-up, including registration details go to www.interfaithrelations.org or pick up a complete event catalog at any Carmichaels Bookstore or Heine Brothers Coffee location (or call 502- 583-3100 to have a catalog mailed to you).
