Summer months are just ahead, and with them come the essential decision of where to send your children during the sizzling days spent out of school. Your child is invited to have the summer of a lifetime at the Jewish Community Center, located at 3600 Dutchmans Lane.
Children’s participation ranges from one-week specialty camps to traditional camps, with campers spending the entire summer at the JCC. Specialty camps are offered to children ages five years and older and include art, drama, dance, cooking, horseback riding and sports, which consists of soccer, football and basketball, among others. Specialty and traditional camps include free swim everyday for children ages five and older, in addition to traditional camp offering group swim lessons for ages three through eight. Varying in ages 20 months to 6th through 9th grade, traditional camps offer specific age appropriate activities designed for each camper. The JCC also offers camps for middle school children, which include a community service camp, a weeklong travel camp and more. No matter how long their visit, each camper will form lasting friendships, gain new experiences and have an unforgettable summer.
Campers will be supervised by our wonderful summer staff, who all have previous experience working with children. The staff undergoes rigorous training before and throughout the summer and are prepared to serve as role models and mentors to all campers.
