Cathedral Arts at Christ Church Cathedral offers an ambitious program of music and visual arts events to the downtown community. Because we’re only one block south of the Second Street Trolley Stop, we’ve decided to become a Trolley Hop sponsor.
On Friday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 9pm, enjoy a sampling of fine photographs, textiles, ceramics, and paintings created by artists of the Christ Church community including Mark Bourlakas, Robert Bozeman, Amy Coultas, Robert Halliday, Tom Thill and more. The display will take place in Bishops’ Hall Gallery in Diocesan House at 425 S. Second St. Light snacks and beverages will be served.
Christ Church was organized in 1822. Constructed in 1824, the church building is the oldest in Louisville, is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Louisville Landmark. A progressive and welcoming downtown parish, we set high standards for traditional liturgy and music. Our members come from a 30-mile radius of Louisville, including southern Indiana.
