William Duffy is a popular Louisville artist and the Carnegie Center is pleased to present an exhibition of his recent works. Duffy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with an emphasis in painting, from the Louisville School of Art in 1976. Later, after experimenting with stone and wood carving, he realized that he was meant to be a sculptor instead of a painter. His first solo exhibition of sculpture was at Spaulding College in 1980. Since, he has exhibited around the United States and his works are included in many collections. This exhibit will include some of his well-known sculptural works, alongside his pen and ink drawings that are inspired by jazz. Please visit our website at www.carnegiecenter.org or call 812-944-7336 for information on exhibit programs. Reception and exhibit sponsored by the Carnegie Center, Inc. Museum hours Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5:30 pm. Admission is free.
