Based on director Sam Raimi's (Spider-man, Drag me to Hell) 1980's cult classic EVIL DEAD series starring Bruce Campbell.
A prefect blend of musical, horror film, and camp EVIL DEAD: The Musical is "The Next Rocky Horror" according to Time Magazine and "One musical you'll actually want to see" according to Maxim magazine.
The Louisville production is being produced by Jake Wheat of StreetBlast.com and Directed by Joey Arena, the original Artistic Director and Designer of the world famous Baxter Avenue Morgue haunted attraction. Utilizing premier local talent from Actors Theater, The Louisville Ballet and more this production rivals anything you've seen off-Broadway and more.
The first two rows of the theater are designated the SplatterZone where audience members are issued safety glasses and ponchos and are guaranteed to be covered in blood! (The Cabaret Table and Theater seating is a blood free zone for those a little less adventurous).
Tickets are on sale now at www.LouEvilDead.com as are T-shirts and other show merchandise.
The show runs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in October at 8:00 p.m. All tickets are $20. SplatterZone tickets come with an additional charge of $5 for the mandatory "Safety Package".
