Diabetes classes taught by a registered nurse and a dietitian will be offered at Baptist Hospital East on Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 10-12, from 6:15-9:30 p.m. in Room 2B of the hospital’s second-floor Education Center. A registered nurse and a dietitian present the class, which review the basics of diabetes for persons previously diagnosed and reinforce physicians’ orders for individuals newly diagnosed with the disease.
