    Bit to Do

    Eve Theatre presents Three Viewings

Eve Theatre Company, known for its breakout production Love, Loss and What I Wore and sophomore season opener Motherhood Out Loud , is set to present Three Viewings, a series of monologues set in a Midwestern funeral parlor.

While the setting may seem a bit morbid, the play is anything but, as the three characters tell their comic and dramatic stories, which eventually intertwine with each other.

“The challenge here is to create fully realized people at some very tough moments in their lives,” says the play’s director Nancy Hoover, “when the only point of view you are getting is their own. This is where good writing comes in and the playwright has given us very rich context and a wonderful cast of characters that we never actually meet.”

The three actors in the play, Susan McNeese Lynch, Kim Butterweck and Roger Fristoe are all local theatre veterans who have been seen in numerous productions throughout the city.

Three Viewings will be performed at the new Vault 1031 Theatre on Sixth Street. The show opens this Thursday, March 6 and runs through March 15. Tickets are $22/$19 and can be purchased by calling 502-759-1912.
