Five of Louisville Zoo’s newest additions need names, and you can help!
The Zoo Babies naming contest will begin Monday, April 2, and entries must be received by 5 p.m. Sunday, April 15.
It is presented by Norton Healthcare with additional support from Frontier Airlines, Whole Foods Market, WAVE 3 TV and 102.3 WXMA. There is no purchase necessary to enter.
The contests will allow the public to choose the names for the following babies:
One female pygmy hippo
One male and two female maned wolf pups
One female bongo (antelope)
“Everyone loves babies at the Zoo, and these are especially cute,” Zoo Director John Walczak said. “We hope the community is as eager as we are to name them.”
All the babies are currently out on exhibit weather permitting.
