The Emerging Alliance of Religion and Ecology with Mary Evelyn Tucker
13 Annual Festival of Faiths
St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church
330 North Hubbards Lane
Free and open to the public. Reservations required.
The world’s religions are beginning to play a more active role in ecological issues. Most religions have issued statements on the importance of the environment and many have helped to support eco-justice offices and activities. Moreover, many universities and seminaries are offering courses on this topic. This workshop will survey some of the key publications and projects that have emerged in the last dozen years and will explore how religious leaders and lay people can become more involved in this movement.
Seating is limited. For reservations contact The Center for Interfaith Relations (502) 583-3100
