Whew!! This was a tough one to put together, but I am proud to announce the final line-up for my next showcase at The Bard's Town, on Saturday night, January 29th!
I'm gonna do my part in keepin' the 'Ville funny, by presenting a few of the funniest guys I know in today's local comic scene: Special guest, Craig Williams is one of the funniest comedic writers (and minds) with whom I have had the pleasure of sharing a stage for... so many years now. Featured comedian, and Crack'd.com contributor, Greg Welsh makes me laugh in ways that leaves me feeling dirty all over, and Headlining the show, is the most recent addition to the line-up of improvisational comedy troupe, "Damaged Goods", but still in his own right, "The Mad Bastard", J.P. Lebangood! Best part yet, I'm hosting!!
To see talents of this caliber would normally cost you well over $10 a ticket and a two-drink minimum anywhere else, but I'm bringing it to you for ZERO DOLLARS!! Just local entertainment for the people. The Bard's Town is not only becoming the newest premiere venue for local talent, but is also a full service bar and restaurant with a wide variety of food items and beverages available during the show -- again, no minimums! For more information (or to get reservations) go to www.thebardstown.com.
Show begins at 9:30pm, with a brief ice-breaking appearance by Drew Bailey, fellow member of "Damaged Goods", and also voted by LEO Readers as the 2nd Funniest Comedian in Louisville.
