On the first Saturday of every month volunteers in Bernheim’s Training-for-Naturalists program lead fun and entertaining Nature Exploration Stations at the Visitor Center. Both children and adults enjoy the varied interpretations of the nature of Bernheim at these events. This “open house” program offers changing experiences each month. You might get to snuggle a snake, look a toad in eye, hear hidden stories in plants and trees, figure out the food chain, and discover a whole lot more about your connections with nature. And, you can get in touch with your natural creativity through take home nature inspired craft projects. Appropriate for all ages.
