On Sunday, August 8, Fourth Street Live! brings you a District Rhythms FREE concert with the legendary band Pieces of a Dream! This contemporary jazz band's career spans more than three decades and includes 15 amazing albums! Pieces of a Dream emerged out of Philadelphia’s music scene in 1976. In the early 80s, Pieces of a Dream built their reputation with three albums that would come to define the musical essence of the smooth jazz radio explosion: "Pieces of a Dream", "We Are One" and "Imagine This", that included the hits “Warm Weather,” “Mount Airy Groove” and “Fo Fi Fo.” Last year, they released their 15th album, "Soul Intent". Fourth Street Live! concerts are open to all ages. On all concert nights, patrons who are under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian up until 9 pm. After 9 pm, only 21 and over will be admitted. Patrons who are 21 and under will be limited to the street level of Fourth Street Live!
