Finnigan Productions presents an original stage play titled dirty sexy derby play, a retro sex comedy, running September 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th & 13th at 8:00pm at the Kentucky Center for the Arts MeX Theatre at 501 West Main Street. dirty sexy derby play is the first production in Finnigan's fifth season in Louisville and the sixth full length play written by Finnigan Production's Artistic Director and local playwright, Brian Walker.

Vanessa and Carl have decided to throw a party. It's Saturday, May 4th, 1974 and it's Derby day in Louisville, Kentucky. The thing is; the party they had in mind is not your ordinary, run of the mill Derby party. It's been only one month since the devastating tornadoes of April 3rd, which claimed the homes of people they know and they want to do something special for their friends who have lost so much. They want to give their friends a night to divert their worries and celebrate their fantasies. They want to give their friends, and themselves, a party they won't soon forget. Vanessa and Carl have decided to throw a key party where who you came to the party with isn't necessarily the one you go home with.

dirty sexy derby play was written and is being directed by Louisville native Brian Walker. Walker's previous writing credits include The Time I was Kidnapped by the Church, Smoke This Play, Great American Sex Play, my daddy's name is Big Oil, and Shot Me Down which were all produced by Finnigan Productions at Actor's Theatre of Louisville and The Kentucky Center for the Arts MeX Theater.

The cast of dirty sexy derby play includes Leah Roberts, Andy Pyle, Sarah East, Paul Reynolds, Kelly Kapp, Eric Welch, Delilah Smyth, Shaun Kenney and George Bailey.

Tickets may be purchased by calling the Kentucky Center Box Office at 502.584.7777 or 1.800.775.7777. Tickets are $12.50 general admission.
