Michael Burlingame, a noted Abraham Lincoln scholar and historian, will discuss Lincoln’s life and significance when he visits Frankfort on the second stop of his book tour to promote his long-anticipated biography, Abraham Lincoln: A Life. Author James Swanson, in his review of the book, calls Burlingame “A distinguished scholar who probably knows more about Abraham Lincoln and his world than anyone else alive.” Tickets for the event, which includes Burlingame’s presentation, dinner, and a book signing, are $25 for students, $35 for KHS members, and $45 for all other patrons.
