On Wednesday, Dec. 2, all locations of the Bristol Bar and Grille will be participating in Dining Out For Life, an annual fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations. The Prospect restaurant will also be offering a four-course prix fixe dinner for $28 in addition to the regular menu. Twenty percent of the evening’s food sales during dinner at all Bristol Bar and Grille locations will go to benefit the House of Ruth and the Glade House, which is an alcohol and drug-free supportive communal living environment that aims to help people recover from addiction. The hours for the Dining Out For Life event are 5 to 9 p.m.

Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp with Capriole goat cheese and roasted garlic, wrapped in applewood smoked bacon and served with lemon aïoli

Wild Mushroom and Brandy Soup garnished with scallions

Beef Filet Beurre Blanc: A 6 ounce filet with crab beurre blanc, served with oven-roasted fingerling potatoes

Raspberry Turtle Martini: Dark chocolate mousse with layers of pecans, raspberries and caramel, served in a martini glass

Dining Out For Life is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors and restaurants. In 1991 Dining Out For Life was created by an ActionAIDS volunteer in Philadelphia. Dining Out is now produced in over 55 cities throughout the United States and Canada. On average, five to six cities join the organization each year.
