Diana Sands is a one-woman bio-drama. Of his fellow actor Ossie Davis said: “A certain toughness of spirit – a black woman’s way of being feminine- had taught her... Not to flinch, not to duck, no matter how unfair the whole thing was.”

Steve Willis lives in Greensboro North Carolina and is a Professor of Theatre at Bennett College. Steve’s play Passing Ceremonies was presented in the 7th Jam. It will receive a Mainstage production at the Fresh Fruit Festival in New York City, July 20-23.
