    A big girl with big dreams and big hair is the focus of Hairspray, set to debut on Tuesday at the Derby Dinner Playhouse.

    Hairspray will take place beginning April 6 at Derby Dinner Playhouse, located at 525 Marriott Drive in Clarksville, IN.  The show, which includes a buffet, will run from April 6 until May 23.

    Evening performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the buffet starting at 6 p.m.  Wednesday matinees will start at 1 p.m. with the buffet starting at 11:45 a.m.  Also, the Sunday matinees will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the buffet beginning at 11:45 a.m. 

    Tickets for Hairspray range from $33 to $42 per person, depending on the show time.  Tickets can be purchased by going to www.derbydinner.com or by calling 812-288-8281. 

    Hairspray features the story of Tracy Turnblad, a big girl in 1962 Baltimore, who dreams of getting onto the Corny Collins show.  The production was on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre for seven years from 2002-2009.
