Louisville is for lovers....right? Derby City Dating Scene will focus on that theme with improv and comedy this weekend at The Bard's Town.
Derby City Dating Scene will take place on July 7 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Both performances will happen at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands area of Louisville.
Tickets for the show are $10 per person and can be purchased at the door. Keep in mind that the show may contain adult language and situations.
Derby City Dating Scene features a group of actors, musicians, and writers exploring life, love, and dating in Louisville. Yet, this isn't any boring talk. It's an improv-heavy Comedy that will include the sketches Breaking Up Is Fun to Do and The Star Wars Way. Audience members will also have a chance to talk about their dates from Hell, which may then be turned into a sketch onstage with a twist.
The cast includes Drew Kersten, Aaron Craker, April Singer, Tony Smith, Jenni Cochran, Madeleine Dee, J.P. Lebangood, Chris Petty, and Scott Goodman.
Following the Derby City Dating Scene events, the group will head to the Lebowski Fest for a performance on July 21.
