Thursday, April 16, 2009—Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse will debut the Dumante Sicilian Manhattan in style from 6:30pm-9: 30pm. This Sicilian Celebration pays homage to the pistachio, Manhattan and all things Italian.

Jeff Ruby’s is the ultimate hotspot to debut the Sicilian Manhattan, created by local entrepreneur, Howard Sturm. Howard is also the creator of Dumante Verdenoce Liqueur and having so much passion for the pistachio and his liqueur he came up with this delicious cocktail. Guests will be offered a sample sip of Dumante Verdenoce Liqueur and the feature cocktail will be served at $6. The full menu will be offered as well as a special Dumante Dessert, the Italian Amore prepared especially for this event by pastry Chef, Liza Miller

The unveiling event will feature the musical talents of two Louisville favorites, lovely jazzy songstress, Carly Johnson and well-known and highly respected guitarist, Craig Wagner. The duo will entertain the guests with classic standards revisited while guests enjoy the usual sophisticated service and sexy ambience. Jeff Ruby’s is Louisville’s place to be and be seen Thursday night!

Dumante Verdenoce is handcrafted in small batches in Southern Italy, but created locally by Louisville entrepreneurs, Howard Sturm and Paul Paletti. Howard’s amore for pistachio’s and luxury liqueurs sent him on a journey to Italy and Sicily to research and create his Dumante. Dumante’s ultimate combination of a slowly steeped Sicilian pistachio infusion with fine artisan spirits and delicate natural ingredients creates a flavor like no other…rich, smooth, aromatic with a long and complex finish.
