A small group diabetes class will meet at Baptist Hospital East on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and end on Tuesday, Oct. 13. A registered nurse and a dietitian teach participants how to manage their diabetes, new ways to eat and exercise and how to monitor their progress. The class will be in the second-floor Education Center of the hospital, 4000 Kresge Way. The afternoon classes will be from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Insurance will be billed for the class fee.
