The Dave Matthews Band, with opening act Jimmy Cliff, will be hitting the KFC Yum! Center tomorrow night, December 4 with music starting at 7:00 p.m. for their Winter East Coast Run tour. This short month long tour is in promotion of their most recent number one album Away From the World.
The Dave Matthews Band is a highly successful and popular rock/jam band that borrows from folk and jazz genres. Band members include Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar) and Boyd Tinsley (violin). The band has sold a collective 37 million CDs and DVDs combined.
Reggae legend, Jimmy Cliff, will be the opening act for Dave Matthew's Band from November 30th to December 9th which includes the Louisville show. The Lumineers will then take over the opening spot for the second half of the tour. Cliff released his newest album Rebirth on July 17th, 2012.
