27th Annual Crescent Hill Old-fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
& Crescent Hill Art & Music Festival
Louisville, KY – The Crescent Hill Old-fashioned Fourth of July Celebration & Crescent Hill Art & Music Festival is a free, two-day event on the grounds of the historic Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Ave. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., July 3rd and 4th. 94 juried artists will sell art until 6:00 p.m. or later. Thirty-five musicians provide musical entertainment ranging from traditional Bluegrass to contemporary acoustic guitar on two stages throughout the day and into the evening. Saturday night, Kentucky Homefront takes the main stage to record a live radio show from 8 to 10 p.m.
Entertainment for the entire family includes among other things, an early morning 5-K fun run, a 80-car antique car parade/show, an expanded pet show, a children’s area with field games, mini golf and inflatables, a cake booth and plant sale booth. Weekend festivities culminate with a traditional, hand-fired Zambelli Internationale Fireworks display Sunday night at 10 p.m.
Free parking with complimentary shuttle service will be available every 15 to 20 minutes from the lot off Grinstead Drive at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Shuttles will also pick up along Frankfort Avenue.
