Since its inception in 1984, The Breeders' Cup World Championships have become one of the horse industry’s most celebrated events. In honor of the races, chefs Chris Howerton of Corbett’s: An American Place and Dallas McGarity of Equus & Jack’s Lounge have created exceptional dinner menus for guests to enjoy after retiring from their day at the track.

Let the elegance of the games continue into the evening with a gourmet five-course dinner at Corbett’s: An American Place. Perfect for those wanting to experience the taste of authentic Kentucky fine dining, chef Howerton will offer a special Breeders’ Cup Menu on both Friday, Nov. 5 and Saturday, Nov. 6. Shrimp and Smoked Bacon Ravioli with brandied bisque and tarragon
Salad
Kentucky Mixed Greens, Duck Prosciutto and Cranberries with pear and port wine vinaigrette
Seafood
Hawaiian Sea Bass with wild mushroom and chestnut risotto, broccolini and garlic-dill velouté
Meat
Prime Beef Tenderloin with Fuji-pumpkin apple purée, Brussels sprouts, gingered pumpkin seeds and espagnole
Dessert
Chocolate Pâté with tangerine essence, spiced granola and Woodford-vanilla ice cream

After a day at the track, enjoy a four-course dinner in the relaxed and appealing atmosphere of Equus & Jack’s Lounge. In honor of the Breeders’ Cup, chef McGarity will offer a special four-course prix fixe menu showcasing the region’s freshest produce.
