Topics to be covered include an overview of the current workforce in the construction trades, updates on construction projects in the Greater Louisville Area, Minority and Female Contractors & Workforces in the Construction Industry, information about apprenticeship programs, and the UPS Worldport Expansion Team & Greater Louisville Building & Construction Trades Council award-winning collaboration.
Speakers will include representatives from Fort Knox, Greater Louisville Building & Construction Trades Council, Jefferson Technical & Community College, University of Louisville, The Arena Project, Norton Healthcare, Louisville Water Company, KY State Data Center, Louisville Urban League, UPS Worldport Expansion, Associated Builders & Contractors of Kentuckiana, and the KY Transportation Cabinet.
The event is being hosted by the University of Louisville Labor-Management Center, College of Business.
