The annual St. James Court Art Show held the first weekend in October is a major fundraising event for Old Louisville and The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum. This year the Museum will host Conrad’s Café inside the West Wing of the Museum off Magnolia Avenue. Conrad’s Café will be catered by North End Café featuring an art inspired menu of food and beverages for sale. Outside on the lawn, box lunches will be for sale along with a full service bar and outdoor table seating.
During the Art Show the Museum will be open for tours, and will feature a special retrospective display of St. James Court Art Show posters. Tickets are $7 per person. The Museum booth out front will offer a large selection of items from the gift shop for sale, and book signings by two local authors, chef and linguist David Dominé, and Kelly Creagh, author of the new novel Nevermore, which is set in Old Louisville. Museum membership and volunteer information will be available along with tickets to the annual fall fundraising event, the 2010 Spirit Ball to be held October 30th.
