The concert will be followed by Choral Evensong, a brief meditation of music and prayer in the Anglican tradition, which only Christ Church and one other parish in the area offer to the community.
This musical event is free and open to the public.
Christ Church was organized in 1822. Constructed in 1824, the church building is the oldest in Louisville, is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated Louisville Landmark. A progressive and welcoming downtown parish, we set high standards for traditional liturgy and music. Our members come from a 30-mile radius of Louisville, including southern Indiana.
