His acting career took off as Randy Meeks, the articulately cynical geek in Wes Craven's "Scream", which won him a Blockbuster Best Supporting Actor Award. That was followed by numerous movie roles, including "Bowfinger" with Steve Martin and "Three Kings" with George Clooney. He turned to producing a few years later, with The Jamie Kennedy Experiment (JKX) and the comedy "Living With Fran", starring Fran Drescher.
