Three Point Luke, a 2-year-old colt named for Louisville senior forward Luke Hancock, is entered in Saturday’s seventh race at Hollywood Park.

The six-and-a-half furlong race will mark the debut of the son of Empire Maker, who is part-owned by Rick Pitino’s RAP Racing. Three Point Luke, who has posted several works at Santa Anita in preparation for the race, is trained by Doug O’Neill. O’Neill trained 2012 Kentucky Derby winner I’ll Have Another.

Jockey Edwin Maldonado is named to ride Three Point Luke, who will start from post 10.

Luke Hancock, the Most Outstanding Player of the 2013 Final Four, returned to the court Tuesday after time off due to an Achilles injury. He had eight points in the Cardinals’ 97-69 win over Hofstra.

Post time for the race is 6:35 ET and it will be shown live on TVG.
