In a city where being asked “What school did you go to” actually means your high school rather than your college choice, it’s given that locally- owned
businesses usually are more successful here in Louisville. An automotive service facility owner by day and soccer enthusiast by night, John Grossman of Grossman Tuning LLC is a prime example of that hometown success.
In preparation of hosting their 5th annual Audi Get To Gether (GTG) and show March 15th, Louisville.com checked in with John to see what Grossman Tuning LLC is all about.

How did you get into working with cars?
I always enjoyed working with my hands, as a young child I would dismantle any and everything. I eventually turned that into working on my bicycles and then the neighbor’s bikes. Once I started driving it was only a matter of time before I started working on cars.
How would you describe what Grossman Tuning does or you consider your specialty?
Grossman Tuning LLC. is primarily an Import automotive service facility, servicing brakes, tune ups and pretty much anything else you may need for your car. We specialize in German and Asian Imports but we don't turn away anyone. We also do a full line of performance work from turbo charging, engine swaps, suspension upgrades, and much more.

What does Grossman Tuning LLC have planned for the new year in terms of business plans or events?
We are hosting our fifth annual VW Audi Get to Gether (GTG) and show March 15th from about 11am to 5pm. Details and various forums can be found on www.louisvilleVW.org.
Why do you think
One of the nicest things about being in the automotive business is that people will always need car work done, all I have to do is be honest and treat people with respect and the work will always be there. It doesn’t hurt that we are the biggest city in the state, and everyone seems to know someone that you know.
