This morning, Chane Behanan, a junior forward for the University of Louisville Cardinals, was dismissed from the team. At a press conference earlier today, Coach Rick Pitino stated that "We lost a terrific man in many respects. Away from the lines, he just did not do the right things, over and over...it's set our basketball team back immensely."

Behanan was indefinitely suspended in October after undisclosed violations of the University's rules and policies. Pitino put him back in the game less than a month later, and expressed surprise "He surprised the heck out of me because he has a very difficult schedule to adhere to."

This morning, Behanan tweeted "Good while it lasted" and "I will forever miss this place."

According to the Card Chronicle, at this point Behanan can either transfer to another school, or hire an agent and attempt to go pro.
