The evening will feature business networking, interactive discussion on powering your profits in today’s market, and the Chamber’s goals and vision for 2009 with President, Beth Cassity.

Interactive discussion will include CEO’s and Business Owners that are embracing the change of today’s market and succeeding.  Duane Shover with ActionCOACH Business Coaching will facilitate the discussion.  “Our local business community has numerous small businesses which are succeeding dramatically in spite of changes and challenges in the economy.  We will learn what they have done to grow in 2008, and how they will extend this success into 2009 and beyond,” explains Shover.

"In today's market, it is essential that Chambers of Commerce instigate conversation among the business community about how to thrive and grow in this changing economic climate," explains Chamber President, Beth Cassity.

Attendees will ask questions and network with business owners like Ron Kuster with Marvelous Renovations, “In 2008, we experienced our best year ever, nearly doubling our gross sales over 2007. We achieved this by focusing on a series of effective sales & marketing strategies that resulted in a significant increase in our customer base, more than doubling our average sales, and increasing our profit margin.”

The Chamber will also celebrate the new Chairman of the Board, Carson Ledford, Owner of Technology Plus.  Also recognized will be the service provided by outgoing Chairman, Gary McClure with Park Community Federal Credit Union, and three other dedicated board members: Carolyn Reed, Gary Owen, Paul Jordan.

The Chamber Jeffersontown will welcome 4 new members to the Board of Directors:

    Nick Clark, Nelson Insurance Agency

Mike Cook, Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions

    Wes Gersh, Gersh Law Offices

    Chuck Pierce, Jeffersontown High School
