The Louisville Pops Orchestra rings in the holiday season with the annual King Southern Bank Holiday Spectacular, Thanksgiving weekend.  This wholesome evening of holiday music will take place at the Brown Theatre Saturday, November 24th at 7:00pm.  This concert, led by newly appointed Jason Weinberger, will feature traditional holiday tunes performed by the Louisville Pops Orchestra and a chorus made up of local choirs.  Of course, no holiday concert would be complete without a visit from our friends at the North Pole!  Santa Claus will make a special appearance before and after the concert to meet the Louisville Pops Orchestra audience and guests!  Make the Louisville Pops Orchestra part of your holiday traditions with this warm, family-friendly concert.

This concert was originally supposed to feature a special guest performance by 7 year old trumpet prodigy Geoffrey Gallante.  Geoffrey recently lost his two front teeth and will be unable to perform on Saturday.  Louisville’s own hometown hero Patrick Henry Hughes has been kind enough to help us out over the holiday week/files/storyimages/and will be performing at our Holiday Spectacular Concert.
